Celebrate the power of trees at Arbor Day tree seedling distributions in six local communities on April 15.
Learn how to “plant the right tree in the right place” by talking with arborists and master gardeners. Choosing the right tree for the location helps keep limbs from growing into power lines and lessens the need for pruning.
This year’s Wenatchee Arbor Day celebration will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee.
Tree seedlings will also be distributed on April 15 in:
- Cashmere – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clifford’s Hardware, 127 Cottage Ave.
- Leavenworth - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the national fish hatchery, 12790 Fish Hatchery Road
- Entiat - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall
- Orondo - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Market Place
- Manson – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Manson Grange, 157 Wapato Way

Chelan County PUD has been named a Tree Line USA Utility for the 11th year in recognition of the utility’s responsible care of trees while maintaining reliable electric service.
