More blooms, less water: Find out how at the Farmers Market

See some of the many plants that offer beautiful blooms while requiring less water at Saturday’s Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market.

Susan Gillin from Chelan PUD’s Conservation department will be at the market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, to talk with shoppers about Xeriscape (low-water use) landscaping. She’ll also have some low-water use plants on display and will hold a drawing to give them away to PUD customers.

The market is in a new location this season on Worthen Street at the former city Public Works offices.
