Outage planned July 8 to replace Manson Substation equipment

A power outage is planned from 8 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, in Manson and along the south shore of Lake Chelan so PUD crews can safely replace equipment in the Manson Substation.
Up to 1,200 Chelan County PUD customers living north of the Manson Substation, on the north shore of the lake, and those served by the underwater transmission line that carries power to the south shore will be affected. On the Manson side of the lake that includes areas north of the substation along Totem Pole Road, Washington Street and Faubian Street. On the south shore, the outage will extend from the state park uplake to the end of the road, including Navarre Coulee.
