Planned outage in Manson is canceled
Chelan County PUD
News Release
7/7/2009
Cooler temperatures and recent line improvements will make it possible to safely do the work needed at the Manson Substation on Wednesday, July 8, without a power outage for Chelan County PUD customers.
Bill Leffler, Chelan area superintendent, said the nearby Wapato Substation can carry the load when the Manson Substation is taken out of service on Wednesday morning so PUD crews can safely replace some equipment.
With the cooler temperatures and power line upgrades, no outage is needed for Chelan PUD customers north of Manson and those on the upper south shore served by the underwater transmission line from the Manson Substation, said Leffler.
