River of Power, a series of fourth-grade classroom lessons about the science, math and history of local hydropower that finishes up each spring with a daylong visit to Rocky Reach Dam, is expanding participation this year.

Chelan County PUD crews responded to several wind-related power outages Monday morning affecting customers in Manson and Malaga. Winds also prompted the closure of Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park for the day so crews can clean up tree limbs and debris.
