[1] Additional information regarding
application handling for High Density Loads, Cryptocurrency or similar operations, and loads greater than 5MW is available in the Utility Services Electric Line Extension Policy.
[2] All service requests of 5000kW
or greater are subject to the District’s Transmission and Generation Interconnection Requirements, processes and procedures.
[3] Engineering fees for solar installations
for three phase and above 25kW will be estimated on an individual basis.
Service Connection Fees
Service Connection Fees are determined by the service rating consistent with Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and are applicable to both new connections and capacity additions to existing services. Connection fees do not apply to temporary
services. Service Connection Fees include the average, estimated costs of the transformer, meter, materials1, and install labor. The service connection type, size, and equipment size will be determined by the District in its sole discretion
consistent with engineering guidelines.
High Density Loads, Cryptocurrency and other loads, as determined by the District, may require transformer upsizing and metering upgrades. Connection fees for these loads will be estimated on an individual basis.
